A great find, the bikes ridden in the 2003 Tour series by the Euskaltel Team.
Orbea Euskaltel Team 03 Bike. Orbea produced the Team 03 Euskaltel carbon/alloy road bike for the 2003 Peloton. The bike shone at the TDF and the Vuelta in the hands of Mayo and the team. The bike was sold to the public exactly the same as it adorned the tarmac ridden by the pros. Columbus Starship Tubing with Time forks and Orbea Zeus rear triangle. Shimano Dura Ace 7700 Groupset with Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL 1st Gen wheelset. An incredible bike beautifully preserved.
Not much to do to this bike except swapping out the Shimano R700 Compact Chainset for the original Shimano Dura Ace 7700 53/39 and replacing the stem with the period correct ITM Millenium.

The C40 Mapei build nearly finished but with a last minute addition. Blue ITM 'The Big One' stem. Andrea Tafi rode the Paris-Roubaix stage on the C40 with a blue ITM quill stem and later his 2000 C40 was ridden with a black ITM (we still have this one) but the blue kinda works better aesthetically.

Colnago C40 B-Stay complete with a full 2002 Campagnolo 1st Generation 10 Speed Groupset. Wheels are 1st Generation Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL and also Cinelli Ram 1st Gen Carbon Bars. Altogether a truely original bike extremely well preserved and maintained.

Our Colnago Master gets a brake upgrade to compliment the Record groupset. Brake levers are Campagnolo C-Record and the calipers are the legendary Campagnolo Deltas. Properly set up and contrary to common misconception they are fantastic brakes.
The groupset further consists of a C-Record chainset however the front and rear mechs are later Record (1995 the first year Campagnolo put groupset name onto the Record components) and the 8 speed syncro levers. Seamless shifting!
